quilts & prayer shawls quilts are given to the needy and to lutheran world relief; women knit and crochet prayer shawls and other items |

clean women of the elca clean the kitchens and serve for weddings and funerals |

scholarships women of the elca provide scholarships to high school seniors planning on attending non-lutheran colleges and universities from the proceeds of bake sales |

give offerings are received at meetings and money not needed for the business of women of the elca is given away as benevolences to several organizations |

prayer women of the elca are involved in the prayer ministry |

bible study one of the objectives of women of the elca is to encourage all women to be involved in a bible study |

synod & elca it is also the responsibility of women of the elca at mountain view to be in contact with the southwestern washington synodical women's organization, the churchwide women's organization, and to encourage full support of women of the elca |
