deacon ministry group as disciples of Christ we are called to make Christ and his redemptive loveknown to those in our community of faith who suffer, who grieve,who are hospitalized, or who are isolated; such love is made known in the offering of Holy Communion, prayer, visitation, and the sharing of God's Word |

visitation it is the responsibility of visitation deacons to take the Eucharist to those unable to attend worship, to bring God's Word and prayer, helping to keep them connected both physically and spiritually with their church family |

prayers at the altar prayer deacons offer prayers at the altar once per month |
||
card ministry card deacons send cards to members during challenging times and on joyous occasions—cards are sent to those who are shut-in or grieving, to the newly baptized, and again on the first three baptismal anniversaries |

emergent circumstances on-call deacons are on call to assist the pastor with follow-up calls for crisis situations—visits to hospital rooms or homes of those in need |

grief ministry grief deacons regulary visit and support members who are isolated or grieving |
