. THE ROCK MINISTRY at MVLC |

| The Rock Ministry incorporates relationship-building, teaching of the faith, service, mini-retreats, and fellowship events for groups of children, their parents, and other adult mentors. Together, we will strive to build community, learn the story, and experience life together. The Rock Ministry events take place on Wednesdays and Sundays and will replace the traditional Sunday school, as well as the WNL children's teaching format and confirmation class on Wednesday evenings. Third and fourth graders will meet together. Fifth and sixth graders will meet together. Seventh and eighth graders will meet together. High school youth will meet together. Each Rock Ministry Group will be led by a Mentor Team, composed of adults from the congregation. The Rock Ministry hopes to involve all members of the congregation. If you don't have children in the third through eighth grades, you are still encouraged to participate in The Rock Ministry events or to serve as part of a mentor team. |
